La Russie a envoyé mardi une actrice et un réalisateur dans l’espace pour y tourner le premier long-métrage en orbite de l’histoire et marquer des points symboliques face aux concurrents américains après des années de déconvenues.
L’engin Soyouz transportant l’actrice Ioulia Peressild, 37 ans, et le réalisateur Klim Chipenko, 38 ans, ainsi que le cosmonaute chevronné Anton Chkaplerov, a décollé à 08H55 GMT depuis le cosmodrome russe de Baïkonour, au Kazakhstan.
Après cinq minutes, ils étaient à quelque 150 km d’altitude, et les séparations des différents étages de la fusée se faisaient sans accroc.
Selon le plan de vol, l’engin transportant l’équipage doit s’arrimer à la Station spatiale internationale (ISS) lundi à 12H12 GMT. Le réalisateur et l’actrice auront 12 jours pour y tourner un film provisoirement intitulé « Le défi », qui mettra en scène une chirurgienne ayant pour mission de sauver un cosmonaute. Ils reviendront sur Terre le 17 octobre.
